Why this exists

My Convert Case was built in 2015 out of a simple frustration: converting text between case formats — switching a variable from camelCase to snake_case, fixing a document full of ALL CAPS, formatting a URL slug correctly — required either careful manual editing or a tool that was slow, cluttered, or required a login.

The goal was simple: a fast, clean converter that handles every format a developer or writer might need, with no signup, no character limit, and no tracking of what you paste.

What it does

My Convert Case converts text between 13 case formats instantly:

• The everyday formats: UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case, Sentence case, Capitalized Case
• The developer formats: camelCase, snake_case, SCREAMING_SNAKE_CASE, PascalCase, kebab-case, dot.case
• The fun ones: aLtErNaTiNg case, iNVERSE cASE

No character limit — works on a single word or an entire document. All processing happens in your browser; text you paste is never sent to a server.

Who built it

Built and maintained by Tim Murphy, a developer based in Australia. My Convert Case has been running since 2015 and is updated regularly.
